Do you know the healthy pH level for your body?
The optimal pH level for everyone is 7.36. If it's lower than that it means your body is acidic, if it's higher your body is more alkaline. How do you find out your pH level? You can buy a pH level indicator at your local drug store. It's usually a strip that you use with bodily fluids and a colour chart that changes colour to indicate a higher than 7 or lower than 7.
What you should know: Having an acidic pH level means bad news. Disease thrive in acidic environments, which means if your sick you should avoid eating acidic foods.
Disease cannot thrive in a body with a basic pH level. Which means if you're sick you need to get your pH level from acidic to basic. How? Eat more basic foods. Recommended foods include:
Apricots, Molasses, Cucumbers, Avocados, Lemons, Coconut, All Melons, Figs, Milk Products,Dates & Raisins, Natural Yogurt, Grapes, Unpasterurized Honey, Maple Syrup, Root Vegetables (potatoes, rutabaga, etc), Alfalfa and Other Sprouts, Cayenne, Lithothamnium (algae), Chlorella, and among the best alkalizing foods is ALMONDS (raw and untreated).
Foods to avoid: Fast foods, meats, processed grains, some fruits (such as ripe bananas and plums), refined salt, sugar, condiments (pickles, ketchup, etc.), soda pop, and almost all refined, processed foods, etc. have a pH ranging from 2.8 to 5.5 which is highly acidic. These foods (even meat in excess) tear down our health.
Eat more Basic and Stay Healthy!
